But among the asuras, one being saw through the illusion. Swarbhanu, cunning and sharp, disguised himself and sat among the gods to drink the nectar. None of the gods noticed — not even Vishnu — until the Sun and Moon identified him. Vishnu then beheaded him with his Sudarshana chakra. Yet, the nectar had touched his throat, rendering him immortal. His head became Rahu, the shadowy planet of disruption, innovation, illusion, and genius.

This myth illustrates Rahu's essence: not evil, but fiercely intelligent, rebellious, and visionary. He deceived even the divine cabinet of gods, not with brute force, but with insight and boldness.
